Happy weekend! If you haven’t yet, I hope you’re taking some time off to invest in you! Whether it’s 10 minutes or an hour, remember that self care - whatever that looks like for you - is an imperative part of our health and happiness. You are worth a few quieter moments or a slightly slower pace. You are worth a deeper rest or a little self indulgence. Know that a little investment in self could be the fuel you just may need to allow your light to shine brighter & to fill you with more zest so that your days take on greater meaning and are more fulfilling. You deserve it. For me, one of those things is a long walk and this my view in doing just that a couple of days ago. How lucky are we to call this home 💫☀️
What a wholly stunning day! ☀️ Did know that vitamin D from the sun’s rays can help to modulate our body’s immune response, helping us fights coughs, colds and allergies alike? It also helps with our circadian rhythm as well as our mood and disposition, all of which are high importance for efficient immune function too!
Here in Australia, we are blessed to be able to draw on our surroundings to support our health & wellbeing. A privilege, we certainly shouldn’t take for granted. So while this beautiful sunshine is sticking around, I encourage you to soak it up as best you can. Even 15 mins a day counts! I’m doing my emails in the sun as we speak. Happiest Thursday! 💫
Fun fact 💫 I love experimenting with salads! It’s one of my fave things to do haha. I’m always on the hunt for some inspiration or perhaps a new combination or ingredient to try.
Here are three of my go-to’s, always on high rotation:
1. Ottolenghi inspired tomato & basil salad
2. Roasted cauliflower, pomegranate, pistachios and mint salad
3. Pear & Persian feta salad
Which one would you choose? Let me know! 💫
